Office of House Minority represented by Minority Leader Rep. Ivan Blanco, Vice Speaker BJ Attao, Floor Leader Ralph Yumul, Rep. John Paul P. Sablan, Rep. Lee Pan Guerrero, Rep. Angel Demapan, Rep. Joseph Flores, Rep. Joel Camacho, Rep. Roy Ada, and Rep. Patrick San Nicolas adopted the Garapan Skate Park. With the help of Rep. BJ Attao, Rep. Ralph Yumul, Mayor of Saipan David Apatang, Tan Siu Lin Foundation, and Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services, the partners worked together to 1) water blast the skating area, 2) perform general cleaning throughout the site and the surrounding area, and 3) transformed the experience through creative and colorful murals that cover the entire skating area. The Garapan Skate Park project has been completed and is being enjoyed by skating enthusiasts of all ages. The park is free to use and open for skaters of all levels.
