About this project:
Sugar Dock beach which is very popular among local residents is located in Susupe, Saipan. Saipan Lions, which is part of the 1.4 million Lions across the globe, has signed on to a five-year agreement with the Public Private Partnership of the Governor’s Council of Economic Advisers to support an initiative that focuses on destination enhancement in the CNMI. In addition, Mount Carmel School(MCS) has joined the the CNMI Lions Club in sponsoring the beach as the first educational institution to sign up for the program to maintain and beautify some of CNMI’s major tourist sites and attractions. Lions Club Saipan focused on the following objectives: 1)Beach clean-up and disposal of debris; 2) Improvement or establishment of basic infrastructure and amenities (better shower area, renovate pavilions, and e.t.c.0 3) Safety and health coverage; 4) Beach activities.
